Since the last visit in August, 2015, the Alexan Fullerton has made great progress. The Alexan Fullerton is located in the City of Fullerton at the intersection of Lemon Street and Orangethorpe Avenue. The eastern portion of the project, as shown in the intro photo, is further along than the western portion. The project is located at the Orangefair Mall.

Harbor Walk is an upcoming mixed use apartment project located near Downtown Fullerton at 770 S. Harbor Boulevard. The developer of this project is PLC Land Company: Christopher Homes and the architect is Architects Orange.

Here is the continuation of checking the progress of the Ventana Senior Apartment Homes project in Downtown Fullerton, which now stands tall. First coverage from LAOCDB, previously Orange County Dense Developments, on Malden Station was on April 30, 2014. Here is an excerpt from that post: 

"From Driver Urban's website shows the upcoming new mixed use development, Malden Station Apartment Homes, from Lennar, that will be built next to the Fullerton Transportation Center's parking structure on W. Santa Fe Ave. This project will stand at five stories tall with retail on the first floor facing towards W. Santa Fe Ave, and will include 200 market-rate apartment units along with 369 parking spaces."

Update: It was brought to my attention from a reader, who provided an Orange County Business Journal article, that City Ventures has sold the project site to Western Realco. The new developer's are aiming to construct a business complex consisting of office and industrial buildings (Source).

The Edge, formerly known as 'The North Fullerton Mixed-Use Village Specific Plan', is a proposed mixed use development in the City of Fullerton where there may be up to 1,142 residential units.

According to an environmental document report, associated with this project, the project's name is Pomona Court and consists of a mixed use development located in Downtown Fullerton. Pomona Court is located on 211 - 213 North Pomona Avenue. The project site has an existing restaurant that fronts North Pomona Avenue. The new under construction mixed-use building is located behind the restaurant building. The total number of floors for this project is three. The first floor will consist of office space (2 units) and 1 residential unit. The second and third floor will each have 2 residential units. The project also includes 9 surface parking spaces. Additional information that can be found from the City's website, indicate the residential units will be rentals.

New Midrise Rising in Downtown Fullerton: Ventana Senior Apartment HomesThe Ventana Senior Apartment Homes is an under construction project located in Downtown Fullerton at 345 E. Commonwealth Avenue. This development will be six stories tall and will have a total of 95 affordable senior rental units (source).
