Proposed Rancho La Habra Development

Rancho La Habra is a proposed development in the City of La Habra, of which if approved, will replace the existing Westridge Golf Club. 
According to the Notice of Preparation of a Draft Environmental Impact Report for this project, the developer is CalAtlantic Homes. The proposed project consists 420 residences where 277 would consist of single-family homes and the remainder 143 would be multi-family townhomes. The townhomes would be located along Beach Boulevard (Western most side of the proposed project site). Additionally, the townhomes would consist of three story row townhomes (max. density at 18 DU/Acre). The retail (12,000 square feet) and restaurant (8,000 square feet) portion consists of a total of 20,000 square feet. The commercial component is also located along Beach Boulevard abutting the southern portion of Westridge Plaza.

The developer also needs the following approvals, "...General Plan Amendment (GPA), Zone Change (ZC), Specific Plan Amendment (SPA), Specific Plan (SP), Vesting Tentative Tract Map (VTTM), Development Agreement (DA), Design Review (DR), and formulation of a Mello-Roos District" (p. 2 from report).
