The last comprehensive update was back in 01/12/2015. Since then, over a year has passed and much progress on hotel construction has been made. Holiday Inn Express
The Holiday Inn Express, which has 96 hotel rooms, now sits on what used to be a part of Quality Inn as three older buildings were demolished to allow for the construction of this hotel. Ramada Maingate
The Ramada Maingate project entails a new four story mixed use building with hotel rooms at the top three floors and the bottom floor having retail. From observation, two retail tenants will be Alpha Mart and Discount Tickets & Tours. As it is from observation, there are still empty retail spaces. It appears they are putting the finishing touches on the building & landscaping and are getting closer towards completion.

Hyatt House
Hyatt House is a mixed use development consisting of 252 hotel rooms and a Walgreen's Pharmacy at the ground floor. Prior to this project, the project site used to be Zaby's Motor Lodge along with some vacant lots.

Marriott Residence Inn
A previous LAOCDB article provided insight regarding this project:
"...Now, west of the completed Springhill Suites is another upcoming hotel project which currently has a construction crane is the Marriott Residence Inn project. According to the OC Register, the upcoming Marriott Residence Inn, which will have 274 hotel rooms, replaces the Jolly Roger hotel (Source)."...
