Homewood Suites Extended Stay Hotel Under Construction in Irvine's IBC

​​A Homewood Suites Extended Stay Hotel is under construction in the City of Irvine's Irvine Business Complex (IBC) at 17370 Red Hill Avenue at the intersection of Red Hill Avenue and Reynolds Avenue.
According to a Request for Planning Commission Action report with regard to the Homewood Suites Extended Stay Hotel project, the developer of the project is DKN Hotels and the project consists of a four story hotel with a total of 161 extended stay hotel rooms along with a detached retail pad consisting of a total of 3,100 square feet of retail space. Prior to construction, the project site was a vacant lot.

The report states 145 vehicle parking spaces will be provided for this project. The nearest transit service for the project site include iShuttle, a City of Irvine operated rail-feeder shuttle, and the closest stop is about 0.75 mile, for Route A, which is located at the intersection of Von Karman Avenue and McGaw Avenue. Route A starts from the Tustin Metrolink Station and ends at John Wayne Airport. Looking at Google Maps, Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus service is also available next to the project site at Red Hill-Reynolds which is serviced by Routes 71, 212, and 472.
