According to the OC Register, the Great Wolf Resort, located in Garden Grove on Harbor Blvd., includes an indoor and outdoor water park along with about 600 hotel rooms, is reported to break ground this Spring 2014. This came amid long delays in moving forward with this project, as reported by OC Register, the project was introduced in the year 2010, and was expected to be completed in 2012. In light of the project now moving forward, the revised expected completion date falls on 2015. This ambitious goal is not a coincidence, as this is also the same time as Disneyland's 60th anniversary.

The website Santa Ana Blue Print reported the Great Wolf Resort project finally broke ground on March 21, 2014.
