The Irvine Spectrum area in the City of Irvine has been seeing an increase in high-rise development. Here is a recap of the high rise developments in the Irvine Spectrum area:
200 Spectrum Center tower from the Irvine Company was completed in February 2016. The new tenants of the new tower include Mazda, WeWork, and Curse. Additionally, the new tower is being joined by its upcoming new twin, the 400 Spectrum Center tower which at the last time LAOCDB visited, it was under site-prep. Irvine Company has created a new site specifically for both the 200 and 400 Spectrum Center towers and includes a new rendering showing how it will look like.

LAOCDB reported about the upcoming 14 story Marriott Hotel back in July 2015. According to the OC Register, this project has broken ground and will consist of 271 hotel rooms.
