400 Spectrum Center is a 20 story office tower in the City of Irvine near the Irvine Spectrum mall. LAOCDB reported back in Dec 28, 2015, 400 Spectrum Center project was under site prep. Fast forward to June 2016 and the tower is topped off.
The 400 Spectrum Center project is from developer Irvine Company and is their second recent high rise office tower addition near the Irvine Spectrum mall. Their first tower 200 Spectrum Center has been recently completed. This is the twin to the second high rise with identical architectural aesthetics consisting of cladding "...in modern, linen-finish stainless steel and high-performance floor-to-ceiling Viracon Glass..." (source). The architects of this project is Pei Cobb Freed & Partners.
As 200 Spectrum Center stands at 20 stories tall, 400 Spectrum Center will also stand at 20 stories. Both towers are 323 feet and 4 inches tall which are tied in the title of Orange County's tallest building.
The 400 Spectrum Center project also consists of a six level parking structure where one level is underground parking. The parking structure will entail a total of 1,313 parking spaces.
