The Wilshire Grand project in Downtown Los Angeles held its 'Topping Out' ceremony back in 03/08/2016. Recently, work has begun on the sail shaped crown and the photo above shows construction work continues on the crown. Also a spire will be constructed which will complete the skyscraper to its final height of 1,100 square feet. The mixed use skyscraper consisting of 900 hotel rooms and about 400,000 sq. ft. of office space will become the next tallest building (including spire) west of the Mississippi River.
