City Century, part of ShenLong Development, has revamped their webpage showing updated renderings of their upcoming 1233 Grand Avenue project now known as Vara.
The 22 story high rise will include 148 condominum units in DTLA's South Park district. The renderings below provide a sneak peek into the interior design:

City Century's website further states the amenities at Vara will include a landscaped rooftop terrace including a pool, spa, and private dining lounge.

According to a previous piece from Urbanize LA, the 253 feet tower, was expected to break ground in the third quarter of 2016. However, looking at the permit records over at LADBS, City Century is still in the process of attempting to obtain their permits.

In addition to Vara, City Century is aiming for two additional projects. Urbanize LA reported those to be at 1201 Grand Ave, which is near Vara; at 1025 W. Olympic Boulevard which is near LA Live; and in Koreatown at 2972 W. 7th Street.

City Century has now provided the names to the 1201 Grand Avenue and Koreatown project known as Arris and Nexen, respectively.

Arris, located at 1201 Grand Avenue, is a planned high rise condominium tower with 250 residential condominum units. A previous report from Urbanize LA stated the 1201 Grand Avenue project as a 37 story tower. However, at this time, City Century does not provide detail on the amount of floors, height, and rendering.

The Koreatown project is known as Nexen and is a proposed 180 residential condominium unit development with ground floor retail and restaurant space. Prior, according to Urbanize LA, the development was proposed for over 300 condominium units. Based on the new figure from City Century, there appears to be reduction in the proposed unit count of the project. City Century current does not have a rendering of Nexen nor the height and floor count information.

Lastly, the development near LA Live currently called 1001 West Olympic Boulevard does not have its own webpage yet. Prior, the developer envisioned a multi-tower project on the lot, however, currently there is no new information.
